Terms of Service
Last updated August 29, 2026. Agreement between you and GEARU LLC (“GEARU,” “we,” “us”).
These terms govern access to Mousaion, including mousaion.ai, the dashboard, API, and MCP endpoints. By creating an account, paying, or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Mousaion for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization. Read our Privacy Policy as well.
1. The service
Mousaion is a hosted team brain: you sign up, connect or ingest sources, we file and retrieve context for people and agents, and Dream generates ideas from that context. Features, models, and limits may change. Pre-production capacity, quotas, and uptime are not a public SLA.
We may offer test-mode billing and unpaid staging. Paid plans, when enabled, are billed by Stripe under the prices shown at checkout.
2. Accounts and keys
You must provide an accurate email and keep credentials secret. Dashboard access uses Amazon Cognito. Agents and MCP must use a Mousaion API key, not a dashboard sign-in token. You are responsible for all activity under your organization, including keys you share with tools such as Cursor.
Notify us promptly if you believe an account or key is compromised. We may suspend access to protect the service or other customers.
3. Your content and licenses
You retain ownership of content you upload, ingest, or authorize us to pull from Google Drive, GitHub, or other connectors (“Customer Content”). You grant GEARU a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, embed, and display Customer Content solely to provide Mousaion to your organization (including search, librarian filing, Dream, and MCP/API responses).
You represent that you have the rights to submit Customer Content and to grant that license, including any employee, contractor, or third-party material. Do not upload content you are not allowed to process in the United States.
We do not claim ownership of prompts, Dream outputs, or derived briefs, except that we may use de-identified operational metrics to run and improve the service.
4. Connectors and third-party services
Optional connectors (including Google Drive) use OAuth. Google’s terms and your Google Account settings apply. We request Drive read-only access to sync files you choose; you can revoke access in Google. GitHub access, when offered, is similarly limited to what you authorize.
Model inference runs on Amazon Bedrock (and configured fallbacks). Stripe processes payments. Vercel hosts the dashboard. Their terms apply to those layers. An outage or policy change at a provider can affect Mousaion.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Break the law, infringe IP, or process illegal content.
- Probe, overload, or disrupt the service except via documented APIs within published limits.
- Resell Mousaion or use it to train a competing hosted brain except as we agree in writing.
- Bypass quotas, authentication, or tenant isolation.
- Use Dream or search to generate malware, exploit code for unauthorized access, or child sexual abuse material — we will report and terminate as required.
- Mislead others that Mousaion outputs are human-authored professional advice (legal, medical, financial) without review.
We may rate-limit, refuse, or remove content that violates this section. Pre-production quotas are abuse limits, not a substitute for a paid plan.
6. AI outputs
Dream, derive, search summaries, and similar features are probabilistic. They can be wrong, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. We do not warrant that outputs are unique or non-infringing.
7. Payment
If you subscribe, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide, including renewals until you cancel. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated. Test-mode cards do not create a live charge. Refunds, if any, are handled case by case.
8. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The recipient will use it only for the relationship and protect it with reasonable care, except for information that is public, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law (with notice where legal).
9. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEARU DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE RECOVERABLE AFTER DELETION OR A FAILURE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEARU AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN THE AGGREGATE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS. THESE LIMITS APPLY EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE PLACES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify GEARU against claims arising from Customer Content, your use of the service in violation of these terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.
12. Term and termination
You may stop using Mousaion at any time. We may suspend or terminate for breach, risk, non-payment, or if we discontinue the service (with reasonable notice when practicable). After termination we may delete Customer Content following our retention practices in the Privacy Policy. Sections that should survive (including 3, 8–11, 13–14) survive.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, the state and federal courts in California have exclusive jurisdiction. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
14. Changes
We may modify these terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance except where law requires a different process. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
15. Copyright notices
If you believe content on Mousaion infringes your copyright, email privacy@mousaion.ai with the information 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) requires (your contact details, a description of the work and the material, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act). We may remove material and, in appropriate cases, terminate repeat infringers.
